KUALA LUMPUR (IndoTelko) – iflix, Southeast Asia’s leading Internet TV service, today announced the appointment of Rocket Internet alumni and start-up growth specialist Martin Johansen as the company’s Head of New Markets. Johansen’s proven expertise in expansion, internationalization and hyper growth will be critical in driving iflix’s global expansion plans.

Johansen is a co-founder of Hem, innovative online design start-up, recently acquired by a Swiss firm. Prior to founding Hem, Mr Johansen was Country Manager Norway for Rocket Internet’s leading European online fashion platform Zalando SE, where he led the company’s expansion into Norway. Mr Johansen has additionally held multiple senior roles with Groupon, where he was instrumental in the company’s Asian expansion and corporate strategy.
