SINGAPORE (IndoTelko)  – Telekomunikasi Indonesia International Pte Ltd (Telin Singapore), a subsidiary of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia, unveils new business offerings to help telecommunication service providers and enterprise clients add automation to their Cisco web conference services-based clouds.

The announcement follows Telin Singapore’s recent certification, the first in Asia Pacific to be awarded as Cisco authorised technology provider WebEx.

The certification, known as Cisco Software as a Service (SaaS) Conferencing and Enterprise Instant Messaging (EMI) Resale Authorized Technology Provider (SaaS ATP), enables Telin Singapore to sell, deploy and support Cisco’s web conferences services.

The benefits of using SaaS ATP solutions – software solutions delivered via the cloud-computing model – are clear for many organisations, and these include significant cost savings and greater workforce productivity.

Start-ups, small medium enterprises, educational institutions, and government agencies are expected to benefit from Telin Singapore’s expanded business offering.

It allows service providers to provision cloud customers directly, or allows their client to provision quickly. By automating the provisioning process, Telin Singapore helps its client to cut the cost of deploying clouds while speeding up the revenue from such deployments.

Telin Singapore’s cloud customer can subscribe to the WebEx service from Telin’s online store, 333Cloud, with auto-provisioning system kick-starting within five minutes of registration. Flexible payment mode by monthly with auto recurring or yearly payment method is available along with consolidated billing.

All Cisco WebEx features are available on 333Cloud such as centres for meeting, training, event and support. The Cisco certification allows Telin Singapore to tap on the growing demand for web conferencing and cloud management.

According to latest data by research consulting firm Frost & Sullivan, web-based communications will reach US$2.88 billion in 2017.

Demand for SaaS, a software distribution model which hosts web applications, have contributed 83 percent of total web conferencing revenue. Separately, ‘RightScale 2015 State of the Cloud Report’ found that 93% of respondents are using cloud to manage big data more efficiently, reduce cost and overhead, and to adopt flexible and scalable systems.

Head of Business Development & Planning, Sendang Praptomo said, “We are pleased and proud to be part of Cisco’s SaaS ATP programme. This certification marks our on-going effort to strengthen Telin Singapore’s network and infrastructure to radically expand Telkom’s international reach and services.

“Our ability to facilitate Cisco services is a huge leap in our cloud offerings and will help us to leverage on the business potential in this area. Combined with our existing mission-critical data centres in Changi and Tai Seng, we will be able to take advantage and propel innovations in cloud architecture for the benefit of our customers.”

Telin Singapore will have a dedicated service desk to provide customers assistance and address feedback to manage long-term relationships. Telin Singapore also offers flexible payment mode on a monthly or yearly basis with auto payments.

This certification will strengthen Telin Singapore’s business portfolio to support PT Telkom Group regional growth and radically expand its international footprint to meet growing demands from global and regional customers.(es)
