JAKARTA (IndoTelko) - PT Media Business Telematics (MBT) is optimistic to compete in the Indonesia digital content market by providing information and creative innovation on news portals managed by the company.

"As a startup, we are optimistic that the portals managed by MBT and the creations that we have provided to the readers or advertisers are able to compete in the market. Moreover, the advertising spending potential in Indonesia through mobile devices and digital is considerably very large," said Chief of Content and Strategist MBT Doni Ismanto Darwin after signing the MoU with Telkom subsidiary, Pointer, yesterday.

Citing recent research conducted by eMarketer, digital ad spending in Indonesia is expected to increase to US $ 950 million in 2015, increased by 80% compared to last year's US $ 530 million.

While mobile internet advertising spending is estimated to reach US $ 51 million in 2015, an increase of 130% from last year's US $ 22.5 million.

MBT itself is the portal manager of www.indoTelko.com, indoWisata.co, and IndiTourist.com. The startup is also building an IndoTelko community forum that is active in the Indonesia telecommunications industry.

A while ago, MBT has managed to earn trust from Telkom to implement the Native Advertising Strategy in the 5th anniversary of the Business Service Division (DBS) that work on the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) market through the provision of Smart Business canal in indoTelko.com.

Yesterday, MBT also managed to gain the trust of Telkom through its subsidiary company, Pointer, working on digital marketing ecosystem in the tourism sector.

"We believe in developing MBT using the 3C concept namely Connectivity, Content, and Community. Network of founders with stream media background is very helpful to get the public's trust and presenting quality content. Gaining trust from Telkom was made due to the founder's hard work. This is something remarkable considering that MBT is just three years old," he explained.

On the same occasion, Telkom's Director of Enterprise & Business Services Muhammad Awaluddin said that he was satisfied with the offered MBT's Native Ads strategies during Telkom DBS 5th Anniversary socialization.

"Native Ads is still something new in Indonesia. MBT offered it with such strong content so we are interested to implement it in indotelko.com. Telkom has a rigorous qualification in finding partners, as a startup I think MBT is promising if consistent with its 3C concept," he concluded.(es)
