XL Made Changes on Duties and Authorities of the Board of Directors

JAKARTA (IndoTelko) - PT XL Axiata Tbk. (XL), re-announced the alteration of distribution of duties and authorities of the Board of Directors.

Chief Executive Officer XL, Hasnul Suhaimi explained the reason for this time reorganization is aimed to improving XL’s business performance and to solidify XL to encountering recent competitions which are getting more competitive. This decision was taken and set forth with Board of Directors’ Decision and will effectively apply starting March 1st, 2013.

Corporate Secretary XL, Murni Nurdini enlightened that there is no additional nor reduction in the members of the Board of Directors, this is about the changes on duties and authorities as previously had been done in May 2011.

Where as in accordance to our Article of Association, if General Meeting Shareholders does not determine the distribution of duty and authority of the members of the Board of Directors, such distribution shall be stipulated based on the resolution of the Board of Directors.

In this changes, P. Nicanor V. Santiago III who previously served as Chief Commercial Officer will regain back his duty and authority as Chief Marketing Officer, as well as Joy Wahjudi who previously served as Chief Marketing Officer will regain back his duty and authority as Chief Commercial Officer.

Furthermore, to focus more on the Company's new line of business “digital services”, Dian Siswarini will hold the full responsibility of duties and authorities as Chief Digital Services Officer. Whilst the network operations and information technology will further be taken care by Ongki Kurniawan as Chief Service Management Officer.

In addition to that Customer Service unit which formerly under Ongki Kurniawan will be further moved under P. Nicanor V. Santiago III.(es)
