Ideabox introducing startups of its Batch 4

JAKARTA (IndoTelko) – Ideabox, the most prominent and award winning technology accelerator in Indonesia is opening the door for its fourth batch to enter a 120-day accelerator program.

The 15 finalists that had made it through a rigid selection process have been invited to join a 48-hour bootcamp held in Jakarta on February 10-13th, 2017. During the bootcamp the startups had to work hard to show their commitment and potential.

By Sunday afternoon, the 15 teams have been shortlisted by local and international mentors to the Top 9. Following a final pitch on Sunday evening, the 3 winners that will join the 4th batch of the ideabox Alpha Accelerator were announced:

Andalin is a one-stop service solution to help SMEs trading business through customs clearance integration services.

AyoSlide, is mobile marketing platform with incentivized product ads on users’ lockscreens and in the Ayoslide app.

Sevva, a rental service platform simplifying users ́ renting and leasing experience of daily objects from each other with escrow services.

Ideabox continues into its fourth year as solid partnership between three major players: Indosat Ooredoo, Mountain Partners, and Kejora.

Indosat Ooredoo is one of the largest telecommunication providers with 81,6mio subscribers in Indonesia. Mountain Partners is a well-known global company builder with a track record of financing and building over 200 technology startups and has a local presence in Indonesia whereas Kejora is a local company builder with a strong portfolio of startups based in Indonesia. he partners are expected to bring their expertise and experience to polish the three winners to be amongst the most anticipated startups to be watched in Indonesia’s growing startup scene.

The three winners will receive seed funding of up to 50,000 USD each, intensive mentoring from local and international business leaders with diverse industry backgrounds, access to a strong investor network, dedicated facilities during the program and additional perks from ideabox partners, such as Facebook, marketing credit worth for 80,000 USD, cloud infrastructure support worth 120,000 USD, IBM Soft Layer and IBM Blue Mix. In addition to that, the startups are prioritized for commercial partnership with Indosat Ooredoo.

In order to maintain the quality of the program, Ideabox keep the batch size is small, limited for 3 companies. However after been through mentoring and judging process during the bootcamp, another 3 startups are considered has potential to grow.

Furthermore Indosat Ooredoo will follow up with commercial partnership to help them to scale up their business. The 3 startups are : Fishare, KelasKita and Kliring

Fishare, which offers automated self-farming modules to help fish farmers boost their productivity through precise autonomous farming. KelasKita, which is a marketplace for online learning and teaching in Indonesia. Kliring, which enables users to pay interbank transfer cost as they wish.(es)
